Terms & Conditions


Please Note

The following are a guide to our general T&Cs. Each caravan may have additional conditions specific to it, you are responsible for fully reading the caravan T&Cs before agreeing to making a booking.

By booking any holiday from our site you are confirming your agreement to our terms & conditions.

General Terms and Conditions of Booking

Accommodation

The accommodation may only be used by the persons listed on the booking form. That section forms part of our contract and failure to complete it with a list of all occupants may result in your holiday being cancelled. The booker is responsible for the entire party. If you have more people in the caravan than stated and have not asked us first we will remove EVERYONE from the caravan, you will not be reimbursed as you have breached this contract. This is a health and safety requirement. We have to adhere to park rules and insurance requirements.

Deposit

A £100 deposit for each break (3, 4 or 7 day) booked is required at time of booking. Full payment is required if the booking is made less than 6 weeks before start of holiday.

Balance

The balance is payable 6 weeks before the commencement of the holiday. Installments may be arranged on request. Late payment may result in the caravan being re-let and loss of deposit.

Security Bond

A security bond of £ 100.00 is payable two weeks prior to the holiday by cheque. The bond will be returned within 7 days after the holiday ends provided no damage or excessive cleaning is to be paid for. The accommodation must be left clean and tidy, there will be a £50 surcharge for additional cleaning for caravans left in an unsatisfactory condition.

We personally look after the caravans ourselves and provide lots of things that make your holiday more comfortable and enjoyable, we ask that you respect this and leave the caravan as you find it. You can help to protect the bond by removing shoes to keep carpets clean and not allowing children to jump on the furniture. Accidents happen and we are aware that things get broken, but we would appreciate you telling us so we can repair or replace the item. We won’t take your bond for being honest, we will only deduct the cost for expensive repairs. If you do not tell us and we find anything broken or missing we WILL keep your bond. We don’t take money for cups and plates etc, we have lots of spare crockery and utensils etc, we just want to know so we can replace it for the next people to occupy the caravan.

Keys

We will meet you at the caravan with the keys. Please phone or text us with your estimated time of arrival. We will collect the keys at the end of your stay. We are always at the end of the phone in case of any problems.

Funwork Passes

You can purchase your own passes when you arrive by showing your booking reference and caravan keys at reception. Some people have experienced difficulty doing this before so we can arrange the passes. Please ask about this and we can make arrangements.

Arrival/Departure

Arrival time from 2.30pm. Departure no later than 10am. We may charge £5 per half hour if you are late as we pay our cleaners to be there at 10am. If you leave earlier please use the key box we have provided and please text or call us to let us know you have left.

Families Only

Being a family park, we only accept bookings from family groups. We cannot accept bookings from young singles or all male / all female parties where the average age is under 21.

Site Behaviour

If, in the opinion of ourselves or the park manager, any party or party member is guilty of conduct prejudicial to the well being of others, we or the park manager may re-take possession of the accommodation immediately, without compensation to the party.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is prohibited in all our caravans. If you smoke, please smoke away from the caravan with the door closed, we do not want the caravan to smell of smoke. If we do smell smoke in the caravan we will deduct £50 excessive cleaning cost from your bond.

Unavailability

Should the accommodation booked become unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control a full refund will be given.

Cancellation

If you have to cancel your holiday you must telephone us in the first instance and NOTIFY US IN WRITING within 7 days. IN THE EVENT OF CANCELLATION, THE FOLLOWING CHARGES APPLY:

Risk

You occupy these properties at your own risk.

Insurance

We strongly recommend that you take out Holiday Insurance to cover accidents, losses, cancellations etc. These policies are available quite cheaply from most insurance brokers.

On-site Help

Finally if anything does go wrong, which we hope it doesn’t, please contact us and NOT Haven, any £17.50 callout or repair charges from Haven will be deducted from your bond unless we authorise it. We supply our own gas, it won’t run out as we have a change over valve on the bottles, please DO NOT touch this or change it over. We have our own maintenance man and plumber so we never use Havens services. We are on site every day and just a phone call away to deal with any problems.
